Westbury Court Garden
Gardens & Parks
Westbury Court Garden was the first garden restored by the National Trust, who started the project in 1967. It is one of the best examples of the 'Dutch Style in England', being a 'Dutch canal garden', with clipped hedges and vegetable plots.
The garden was created between 1697 and 1705 for Maynard Colchester I.
The successive Elizabethan manor house, Palladian mansion and the 19th century country house, no longer exist.
