Park Guell
Gardens & Parks
Parc Guell was built between 1900 - 1914 by Count Guell as part of an urbanisation plan for luxury houses, which was never completed. The designer was Antonio Gaudi, the renowned architect for Catalan Modernism.
Since 1926 the park is a public park.
From the originally 60 planned houses, only two were finished. One was bought and lived in by Gaudi himself from 1906-1926, and is today the Gaudi House Museum (Casa Museu Gaudí).
