Roman Villa La Olmeda

The Roman Villa La Olmeda was discovered in 1968, while doing agricultural work by a farmer when he tripped with his tractor over some remains over what as to become one of the most important archaeological sites in the Spanish Roman world.
It is a 4th century 'domus' (rural mansion), a palatial villa with 35 rooms including a Baths complex, of which 26 are decorated with well preserved mosaics.
