Airfield is a 38 acre estate including an urban farm, a 4 acre garden, a 1820s house, walled garden, vegetable garden, orchard, Victorian glasshouse and yew walk.
Airfield is a charitable organisation, established by the Overend family in 1974, for educational and recreational purposes.
The vegetables are used in the Airfield Estate's Overends Restaurant.
Airfield is hosting also a number of events every year, such as the Festival of Food in September and the Woolapalooza in May.
