Arbuthnott Estate

Arbuthnott Estate is the home of the Arbuthnott family for over 800 years. Building began probably a 1242. The house has a 17th century walled garden, planted in the 1920 in the Arts and Crafts-style.
Today it is the ancestral seat of John Keith Oxley Arbuthnott, 17th Viscount and 34th Laird of Arbuthnott, Chief of the Name of Arbuthnott, whereas the house is inhabited by his son Christopher, the Master of Arbuthnott and his family.
Arbuthnott House & Garden is open for hourly guided tours.
The estate has also holiday cottages available.
