Pitmuies dates back to the 1500s, whereas the present house dates from the 18th century. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens restored and developed by Ogilvie family since 1945.
There are numerous gardens, including a Kitchen Garden, Formal Garden, The Alpine Meadow, Mesopotamia, The Vinny Garden, The Hornbeam Walk, The Black Loch, The Woodland Garden...
The gardens are open daily from 1st April until 31st October.
