Baxter Park

Baxter Park, covering 15 ha (38 acres), was designed by the famous Sir Joseph Paxton, opened in 1863. It was donated by Sir David Baxter and his two sisters Mary Ann and Eleanor.

In 2003-2007 in underwent an important refurbishment and the reopening was presided by Queen Elizabeth II in 2007.

It has a pavilion designed by George Henry Stokes, the son-in-law of Sir Joseph Paxton.

Baxter Park is also a venue for coporate and private events, such as weddings...
