The Campo del Moro (Moorish Camp), a secret treasure and having one of the best views in Madrid, was created by Queen Maria Cristina (1806 – 1878). It is a romantic garden with monumental and two Neoclassical fountains.
The site has been a camp of Moorish army in 12th century, hence the name.
