Cranborne Manor, remodelled in the 17th century, is owned by the Gascoyne-Cecil family. The Manor is surrounded by extensive formal and informal gardens, lawns, a kitchen garden, walled gardens, an orchard and is open to the public.

The house cannot be visited.

The seat of the family is Hatfield House, presently inhabited by the 7th Marquess of Salisbury.
Cranborne Manor is often used as home of the heir to the title, who's courtesy title is Viscount Cranborne. 

The estate consists of a 3,000 acre in land farm and over 1,700 acres of woods, as well as the park and gardens.
