Estufa Fria, Lisbon Greenhouse dates back to 1933 and is built on an old basalt mining site. It is a 1.5 ha park, including lakes, waterfalls, brooks, statues and hundreds of different plant specimens from all over the world.
The architect was Raul Carapinha. The Greenhouse consists of three different parts: “The Cold House”; “The Hothouse” and “The Sweet House”.
