Hampton Court Castle

Castles & Country Houses, Event, Film & Wedding Hire, Gardens & Parks
Hampton Court Castle dates from early 15th century and is surrounded by 405 ha (1,000 acres) of parkland and almost 5 ha (12 acres) of gardens, which have been carefully renewed, transformed and revived since the 1990s.

The gardens include water canals, avenues, borders, islands pavilions...

The long history of the castle started with Henry IV who began building on the site before giving it to Sir Rowland Lenthall at the time of his marriage to Margaret Fitzalan, daughter of the Earl of Arundel and a cousin of the King.

In our times, Hampton Court Castle was rescued in the 1990s by the American millionaire, Robert Van Kampen (1938–1999). He refurnished the interior according to his interpretation of how an English castle should look.

The gardens and castle are open to the public during the summer and is a venue for corporate and private events such as weddings...
