La Seigneurie, Sark

La Seigneurie is since 1675 the seat of the Seigneurs of Sark and has been home of two of the three Seigneurial families, the Le Pelleys from 1730 and the Collings from 1852. The present 23nd Seigneur of Sark (Collings descendant), Major Christopher Beaumont and his wife, live today in a smaller cottage of the estate.
The house is surrounded by formal gardens, a potager, a pond and a Victorian greenhouse.
The gardens are open to visitors, whereas the house is open on certain days.
La Seigneurerie is also e venue for weddings.
