Little Sparta Garden is an artwork, created by Ian Hamilton Finlay, a poet and gardener, together with his wife Sue, from the moment they moved to the farm of Stonypath in 1966. The garden, covering 2.8 ha (7acres), has become an internationally celebrated 20th century original garden.
