Malbork Castle Museum

Castles & Country Houses, Museums & Art Centres
Malbork Castle Museum is housed in the 13th-century fortress constructed by the Teutonic Order, under the name 'Ordensburg Marienburg'. It was substantially enlarged and embellished after 1309, when the seat of the Grand Master moved here from Venice.

The fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a magnificent example of a medieval brick castle and was meticulously restored in the 19th and 20th centuries.
