Mansion House is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of the City of London. Mansion House, designed by George Dance the Elder, was built in 1739–53 and altered in the 1790s and in the 19th-century.
Noteworthy are the Egyptian, the Ball Room and the Court of Justice, whereas Mansion House is home to the Harold Samuel Collection, consisting of 84 Dutch and Flemish master works from the 17th century including names such as Ruisdael, Teniers the Younger, Ter Borch, Cuyp, Frans Hals...
Furthermore Mansion House displays the city regalia and its gold and silver plate collections.
Tours can be arranged and there are public tours take place every Tuesday at 2pm.
