Rufford Old Hall

Rufford Old Hall dates back to the 15th century and has been in the hands of the Hesketh family until 1936. However the family lived at Rufford New Hall from 1798.
In 1936 the Hall, its collection of 17th century furniture, artefacts, arms and armour, was donated by Thomas Fermor-Hesketh, 1st Baron, to the National Trust.
The Victorian and Edwardian gardens were restored by the National Trust.
Rufford Old Hall is also a venue for weddings.
