Övedskloster Castle is an estate which is since 1753 the private property of the Ramel family. The manor and its surroundings as we see it today, have been created at that period.
The castle dates back to an Presmonstransian abbey from the 12th century, of which little is known.
The gardens were laid out according to the Neoclassical fashion of the time.
Övedskloster is also a venue for private events such as weddings and conferences.
