The National Museum of Rural Life, opened in 2001, combines a modern exhibition building, housing the national country life collection, and the historic working farm of Wester Kittochside. The latter, with its Georgian farmhouse, showcases the life of the Reid family who farmed there for over 400 years.
The museum is part of the National Museums of Scotland.
