The Nidderdale Museum, located in an old Victorian workhouse, has 11 rooms which illustrate the rural life of Nidderdale, including a complete cobbler's shop, Victorian sitting-room and kitchen, school room, general store, joiner's shop and solicitor's office with displays devoted to religious and domestic life, costume, transport, agriculture, industry, workhouse and courthouse.
