Northala Fields, covering 27.5 ha, was opened in 2008, and contains four circular artificial hills. These hills were constructed by using rubble, coming from the demolition of the original Wembley Stadium.
"Northala" is how the Domesday Book from 1086 recorded the old manor of Northall (Northolt).
