Overbeck's is a Edwardian house, surrounded by a 2.75 ha (7 acres) garden. It is named after its last private owner, the inventor Otto Overbeck (1860 - 1937. The house, in the hands of the National Trust, contains some of his inventions and collections.
The beautiful garden is a 20th century, Mediterranean like creation, and houses a collection of botanically unusual and unexpected plants, such as banana palms, daturas, kniphofias...
