Port Eliot House, dating back to the 12th century, is the ancestral home of the Eliot family. Its present owner is Albert Eliot, 11th Earl of St Germans. The House, with its family collections, and grounds, are open to the public for around three month a year.
Every summer Port Eliot throws open its gates for the Port Eliot Festival, a four-day celebration of music, literature, fashion, food and entertainment across 18 venues and stag
The landscape was redesigned by Humphrey Repton and the gardens include a spring garden with bulbs, camellias, rhododendrons and azaleas.
Port Eliot House is also a wedding venue.
