Beale Arboretum

Beale Arboretum is part of the West Lodge Park Hotel, and was founded by Edward Beale in 1963. The grounds surrounding the hotel cover around 14 ha (35 acres), and the arboretum houses the National collections of Hornbeams and Swamp Cypress, as well as over 800 species of trees from around the world.
Hotel guests are welcome to visit the grounds at any time, and the public can visit Monday – Friday afternoons from April to October.
