Holkham Hall, built between 1734 and 1764, is the ancestral home of the Earls of Leicester of Holkham. It is above all a family home, where the visitor can enjoy the house, its treasures, the deer park and Holkham beach.
The estate (10,120 ha or 25,000 acres) offers many attractions during the year such as open air concerts by well-known artists like Sir Elton John, Jools Holland and Status Quo, classical concerts or exhibitions. The park was designed by William Kent, the plans of which still exist.
It is also a venue for TV & Film, corporate and private entertainment, such as weddings.
