The Tate is a family of four art galleries with the Tate Brtitain and the Tate Modern in London, the Tate Liverpool and the Tate St Ives in Cornwall. The Tata St Ives exhibits work by modern British artists with links to Cornwall.
Since 1980 Tate St Ives also manages the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.
