Tapeley Park, a Queen Ann style construction, was built in 1704, but has been remodelled in the 19th and 20th century. It has been in the Christie family, by inheritance, since the 19th century. The current custodian is Hector Christie.
The estate is about 2.230 ha (6,000 acres), whereas the grounds contain beautiful gardens, in particular the Italian terraces, a lake, ponds...
Tapeley Park is pesticide free and has one of the oldest permaculture gardens in the UK.
It is a venue for TV, Film & Photo shooting, corporate and private events, such as receptions, weddings...
